The Coastal Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging seeks a qualified candidate to fulfill the duties of Information and Assistance Specialist for senior adult programs in a nine-county area. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of an Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, or a minimum of two years experience working in a social service agency. Knowledge of Georgia aging/disability services, Medicare, and Medicaid preferred. Applicants must have excellent telephone manner, verbal and written communication skills, listening and interviewing skills, and strong keyboard and computer skills. This position is responsible for identifying client needs, providing information, and screening individuals for program eligibility, directing callers to resources, documenting and maintaining client records, and preparing specialized reports. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Excellent benefits provided. Salary DOE. Position will be filled upon the selection of the most qualified candidate.
