Serving the Cities and Counties of Coastal Georgia since 1964
This new website is being developed to reflect the change of name and mission of the Coastal Georgia Regional Development Center. New pages are being added daily, so please check back often to view the new content.
Regional Commissions (RCs) are multi-county planning and development agencies serving municipal and county governments. The Coastal Regional Commission (CRC) serves 10 counties and 35 cities. The region encompasses the six coastal counties and four inland counties and has a total land area of over 5,110 square miles.
The CRC provides local and regional comprehensive planning services as well as specialized planning services in transportation, water resources, and historic preservation. The CRC manages transportation services such as Coastal Regional Coaches and the Regional Vanpool Program. We also serve as the Economic Development District for Coastal Georgia and the Area Agency on Aging.
